DAY 2: SOMETHING YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF

Sorry I wasn't there yesterday!! Was too busy eating :p

Soo something I love about my self hmmm.... can i say nothing?

It's not that I dont' like myself or anything, I just feel I have nothing special to love.. So I will have to think hard




THE THING I LOVE ABOUT MYSELF IS:    I love my legs!!!!!!! :D they are the best feature I have, they're long and go on forever! (I like to think).


They're slim which also helps as it doesn't look weird although I can never find any jeans that fit! Do you have any good shops I can try?

30 days of truth- first day- something you hate about yourself

The first day - SOMETHING YOU HATE ABOUT YOURSELF

Where to start on this hmmmm......
Well I absolutelyy hate my nosee!!!! It's so long and it sticks out which is not good!!! Although I would never ever get a nose job or any cosmetic surgery :s
I hate that I don't have any curves I'm just thin which makes it soooo hard to find clothes which look nice on me!
I hate having no confidence or self-esteem :-( it makes things so much worse for me, I have to do things at a slower pace and making friends seems to be harder as well
I hate my operation that I had 4 years ago on my back, the amount of pain it's causing/caused me is so annoying! But there's nothing I can do about it now is there?

I think I have covered everything, where as somethings can't be fixed ie my back I can help myself become more confident which I do by speaking to myself in the mirror  telling myself I am great  ;D
It seems to be working!! My driving instructor said I'm nearly ready for my test :D:D:D

GREEK EASTER

So I don't know if you all know but I'm Greek!!!!!

I have Easter a week after English Easter and we have different traditions ;)
Think I'll let you know a few of our traditions:

Church all week (before the weekend) and on the Friday and Saturday something called the  Ebitaphio (there is no word in English- asked my Mum already) and is a symbolic bier of Christ!! I don't go through week of Fri/Sat night- very lazy. But I do go on Saturdays in the mornings..... I wake up at 6am to be leave the house at 7!! This year it was torture as I was out the night before but I managed to do it!! :D
Another tradition is.. get ready.. no meat or dairy for 40 days!!!! I don't do that either as I can't live without it but my parents do it for a week and so does my sis!
 Who lives without this????

A traditional food which is made at Easter is called Flaounes and this is what it looks like:
 I don't really like them,  but other do!
They are made from easter cheese and made on Holy Thursday (These are made for after fasting is up)

On the Sat night we go to church and we celebrate Jesus' resurrection and we have soup after!! (I know very random... but us Greeks are :D)


On the Sundayy all we do is eat eat eat!!!!!! Especially those people who haven't eaten meat/dairy after 40 days!!

thats its really, my life is so boring so from after this week I will try and do one daily I Promise!
One things I've learnt so far this year is that not everyone is a true friend and you have to watch them carefully, hopefully I've found mine but I still don't know, not very close to anyone which is annoying, maybe things will change next year?
Need help to get more self esteem any ideas?? want to do my driving lesson soon!!!!!!

PURPLE

MY COLOUR OF THE DAY IS: PURPLE


WHY PURPLE, I HEAR YOU ASK?  Well the true answer is I really don't know, I am just in a purple mood


Purple is a nice colour I think, girly and colourful.


One day for uni I was in full purple, purple top, purple skirt, make up, hair band (I think) I'll upload a pic of me one day....... (soon, I promise)

MY COLOUR OF THE DAY: BLUE

Hmmm I want to start a colour of a day thing and today is a blue!
 Blue is such a neutral colour it can mean happiness and sadness
Today's blue is for feeling blue.... one of those days where you just step out from your life and think hmmm, something needs to change and that's what I did, after much thinking I think I need to focus on my friends who treat me well and I love them for that as I find a few are taking me for granted.

Looking around everythings blue, the sky, sea, weather, clothes, hair.
 I know what you must be thinking.... BLUE HAIR, but Katy Perry seems to pull it off with her blue wig!!!  I don't think I'm this confident to dye it that colour! If I ever did it it would be a reddish colour, but I think it ruins hair!

< I've been here at night :D, such a good atmosphere and I bet the sea is lovely.

I think the weather is another factor for my blueness today, its cold, and it looks like its gona snow/rain but its sunny...... make up your mind!!

NEW YEAR

OMG its been actually soo long since I've written on this!! I forgot my password when I switched laptops and haven't been able to access it, I finally found a way though, thank God.

Sooo a new year, new me, thats what I tend to say, although I said this from when I started Univeristy AND it came true, I am soooo  happy there and it really has changed my life, 1) more popular (which feels sooo wierd as I am not used to that and I doubt I will ever be), 2) I've made soo many friends which I love all, although there were a few bumps  in the road to see who my true friends are, but I wouldnt change anything.  A few photos of what I've been up too these past few months:
 My two really close girlies, pre-drinking in halls!! I think this was the popcorn party..... lets just say it was messy
 I really love this photo as it was one of those quick picture in moments, which I will never forget in my life.... Kinky part ;) thought a corset was appropriate!
